ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi reiterated their resolve to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region during a high-level meeting in Islamabad.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on regional security, counterterrorism efforts, and matters of mutual interest.
Both sides reaffirmed their determination to further strengthen the Pakistan–China strategic partnership, describing it as a bond that endures the “test of all seasons.”
Mr. Wang Yi reiterated China’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and development. The COAS expressed gratitude for China’s consistent support.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advance peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
