KAKUL: Field Marshal, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir said on Saturday that Pakistan had proven its military and defensive capabilities in the “Marka e Haq”.
Speaking at the Pakistan Military Academy’s passing-out parade, the Army Chief cautioned that there is no room for war between the two countries in a nuclear environment, stressing that any escalation would carry unacceptable risks for the region. He reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain prepared to defend the nation while urging restraint and responsibility from across the border.
Field Marshal Munir stated that India leveled baseless accusations against Pakistan, but the people of Pakistan emerged more united and resolute than ever before. With the nation’s full support, the armed forces successfully defended the country’s borders against Indian aggression.
Earlier, a grand ceremony was held at PMA Kakul to mark the passing-out parade of the 152nd Long Course, 37th Technical Graduate Course, 71st Integrated Course, and 26th Lady Cadet Course.
The graduating cadets also included officers from 40 friendly countries, including Iraq, Maldives, Mali, Nepal, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Nigeria, Qatar, and Bangladesh.
Field Marshal Asim Munir received a standing ovation upon his arrival, reviewed the parade, and presented the Sword of Honour and performance awards to the outstanding cadets.
