PM Shehbaz credits Pakistan Army and Field Marshal for Afghan forces’ retreat

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif stated that under the bold leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistan Army responded forcefully to Afghan provocations, destroying several Afghan posts and compelling a retreat.

In his statement, Prime Minister strongly condemned Afghanistan’s provocative actions along the Pakistani border and praised the Pakistan Army for its swift and effective response. He lauded the military for its professionalism and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering stance on national defense.

“We take great pride in the professionalism of our armed forces. There will be no compromise on Pakistan’s defense. Any act of aggression will be met with a strong and effective response,” the Prime Minister asserted. “Our defense is in capable hands, and we are fully prepared to protect every inch of our land.”

He further stated that the Pakistan Army has always responded decisively to all forms of external aggression, and the entire nation stands united with its security forces.

Prime Minister Shehbaz also reminded that Pakistan had repeatedly warned Afghanistan about the presence of terrorist groups like Fitna-tul-Khawarij and Fitna-tul-Hindustan, who are operating from Afghan soil and targeting Pakistan.

He emphasized that these terrorist organizations are being supported by elements within Afghanistan, and called upon the interim Afghan government to ensure that its territory is not used by terrorist groups against Pakistan.
