
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially laid out its blueprint for the upcoming white-ball cricket season, announcing strong contingents for a series of demanding home fixtures. The selection panel’s choices blend star power with exciting new prospects, preparing the team for matches against South Africa, Sri Lanka, and a T20 Tri-Series.
The announcement confirms a focused 15-man T20I squad and a robust 16-man ODI squad ready for action.
Key Selection:
The T20I side will be marshaled by Salman Ali Agha, while the ODI team hands the reins to pace sensation Shaheen Afridi.
Crucially, former captain Babar Azam and premier fast bowler Naseem Shah have been welcomed back into the T20I setup.
Young spinner Usman Tariq has been rewarded for his potential with a much-anticipated maiden call-up to the T20I side.
