PM visits PIMS hospital to check health facilities

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday visited the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital here and inquired after the health of the patients admitted in different wards and questioned about the quality of the treatment.

During the sufficient time he spent at the hospital, the prime minister was apprised on the facilities and challenges to handle the huge number of patients coming from different cities.

The people lauded the prime minister’s gesture and raised slogans ‘Long Live Imran Khan.’

He visited different wards of the hospital and interacted with patients admitted in the hospital.

The hospital administration and on duty doctors informed PM Imran Khan about the facilities being given to patients.

Earlier, President Dr. Arif Alvi and PM Imran Khan congratulated the nation and whole Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In their separate messages on the occasion, they said that the passion to sacrifice is inevitable for any nation’s development as it enables a person to remain steadfast and brave enough against any ordeal or tough circumstances.

Imran Khan has also directed all members of national and provincial assembly of Karachi to remain in their constituencies throughout Eid and Independence Day holidays.

In a tweet, the premier has ordered the concerned authorities to provide all assistance to the people.

The federal government is drafting a comprehensive package to end the decades of neglect and suffering of the people of this metropolis, he added.
