COAS thanks nation for reaching out to families of Martyrs

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has thanked thanks nation for reaching out to families of Shaheeds on the eve of Defense Day.

According to details, Inter Service Public Relation Director General (DGISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor expressed his gratitude to the media on the extraordinary coverage of Defense Day..

He took to twitter and said “Thanks to media for unprecedented coverage of Defence & Martyrs Day especially concurrent repeat telecast by electronic media.”

Earlier on 3rd September, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said in a Twitter post that every martyr will be remembered on the upcoming Defence Day.

He further released the slogans of the Defence Day, “Ayein Chalain Shaheed Kay Ghar” and “Kashmir Banega Pakistan”.

On 6th September Prime Minister Imran Khan, along with Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, visited the restive Line of Control (LoC).

According to a brief statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the premier was also accompanied by Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chairman of Special Committee on Kashmir Syed Fakhar Imam.
