Health of Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has worsened in Services Hospital on Saturday.

According to details, Nawaz Sharif is being treated under supervision of Cardiac Specialist after he suffered from a minor heart attack.

Sources said that Nawaz Sharif has been put on oxygen for artificial respiration.

Medical board has suggested to put a ventilator on standby, as per the sources.

The health condition of the former premier has deteriorated since he was rushed to Services Hospital earlier this week with critically low platelet count in his blood.

Nawaz’s echo-cardiography and ECG reports are normal.

Yesterday, The Lahore High Court (LHC) approved Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s bail petition on medical grounds.

Dr. Mahmood Ayaz – head of Medical Board told that the PML-N leader is suffering from diabetes and gout along with heart and liver diseases.

Dr Mahmood Ayaz had maintained that medical tests are conducted at 11:00 AM daily. He told that the PML-N leader is suffering from diabetes and gout along with heart and liver diseases.

Platelets are not yet stable; therefore, we have to give steroids to Nawaz Sharif. The medication needs to be stopped as the disease has not been fully diagnosed. Platelets are being destroyed owing to some disorder.

Bone marrow was functioning normally when the last test was carried out. A fresh examination is required at the moment but we cannot inject needle in his bone.

Earlier, Government allowed PML-N leader Maryam to stay with her ailing father, Nawaz Sharif, in Services hospital.

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Punjab government to allow Maryam Nawaz to stay with father.

The Premier has also issued a directive to fulfill the legal requirements for Maryam’s transfer from jail to hospital.
