Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to provide funds promptly for development projects.

According to the details, the Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) officials, in which the Premier said that the delay in development projects will not be tolerated.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister was informed that 701 billion have been allocated for development budget while 170 development projects will be completed this year.

PM said that monthly reports of ongoing projects should be prepared while development projects should complete soon and ministries and departments should cooperate to complete the projects as he wants to see growth in employment through development projects.

Imran Khan further said that development projects will create job opportunities for the youth.

Earlier today, FBR high-level officers briefed Prime Minister Khan on economic targets of the country.

During the meeting the Premier and FBR officials exchanged views over financial challenges which country will facing.

PM Khan also gave economic targets to the revenue institution’s officials.
