COAS calls on Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa (COAS) called on His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS has reached Abu Dhabi, UAE to discuss regional security environment and matters of mutual interests.

Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi were also present during the meeting, ISPR stated.

Earlier on Friday, United States Special Representative for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters .

DG ISPR tweeted that US Ambassador in Pakistan Paul W Jones was also present.

He said that regional security situation with particular reference to ongoing Afghanistan reconciliation process was discussed during the meeting.
