Funeral prayers of martyred DSP Amanullah were offered on Saturday in Quetta’s Satellite Town.

Yesterday, DSP Amanullah martyred in a blast that took place in a Quetta’s Satelite Town mosque.

A large number of people belonging to the various walks of the life attended the last rituals of the martyred.

Strict security measures put in place to deter any untoward incident.

The martyred DSP, after performing the funeral prayers, laid to rest at QDA graveyard.

Earlier in the day, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) had registered an FIR of Friday’s blast in Quetta’s Satellite Town that martyred at least 15 people and injured 20 others.

At least 15 people embraced martyred and 20 injured after a blast struck a mosque located in Quetta’s Ghousabad area, on Friday.

According to police, DSP Amanullah also martyred in the blast that took place yesterday.

Rescue teams arrived soon to shift the injured to the Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area to initiate an investigation into the incident.

Earlier in a day, Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned the Quetta mosque attack here on Saturday.

Premiere Imran Khan also paid tribute to the Quetta attack martyr DSP Haji Amanullah.

PM Imran Khan expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate incident.

In his tweet on Saturday, PM said, “I have demanded an immediate report on the condemnable cowardly terrorist attack in Quetta targeting a mosque & people at prayers.

“Have asked prov govt. to ensure all medical facilities provided to the injured.”

“Martyred DSP Haji Amanullah was a brave & exemplary officer”, said PM Imran Khan.
