The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to release Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Liquefied Natural Gas LNG Case.

The IHC grants bail to Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in LNG Case here on Tuesday.

The bench has ordered Khaqan Abbasi to submit surety bonds of Rs10 million for bail.

Earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has opposed plea seeking bail Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in liquefied natural gas (LNG) scandal.

During the hearing on bail petition in IHC, NAB told that a reference against Abbasi has already filed in the accountability court.

The bureau further requested to reject the bail plea of PML-N leader and submitted a reply comprising 24 pages in the court.
