‘Daily wagers face extreme difficulty due to Coronavirus lockdown’, says CM Punjab

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar said that Coronavirus pandemic has a devastating affect in Pakistan and across the world.

In a statement on Monday morning, CM Punjab said, “Due to the restrictions in place to contain the virus, the daily wage earners are facing extreme difficulty.”

“Providing relief for poor people is the foremost priority of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf,” he added.

The Supreme Court will conduct the hearing of a suo-motu case reagrding the measures taken by the government to curb the spread of the deadly pandemic across Pakistan.

A five-member bench under Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed will conduct the hearing.
