PIA to bring back stranded Pakistanis from UK via special flight operations

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has partially restored its flight operations for the United Kingdom (UK).

The aviation authority permits PIA to take some special flights to UK to bring back stranded Pakistanis.

These special flights will be operational from Lahore and Islamabad from 19th April.

According to the details, the PIA flights will also take British citizens from Pakistan and bring back Pakistani nationals trapped in the UK since the suspension of flights amidst Coronavirus outbreak.

According to PIA spokesperson, the airline will prioritize the nationals booked their tickets in advance.

The special flights will operate from Islamabad and Lahore to London and Manchester to bring back 2,500 British citizens

Whereas, each passenger will be charged 527 British pound.

The United Kingdom (UK) government asked citizens staying in Pakistan to book their tickets from the official website.
