Seven policemen, who were posted outside DHQ Hospital in Sargodha, have tested positive for coronavirus.

Pakistan has 38,799 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Out of these, 834 people have died whereas 10,880 have recovered. There are 27,085 active cases of coronavirus in Pakistan so far.

According to the Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyer Sheikh, names of the policemen-who tested positive-are Mushtaq Ahmed, Riaz Sikander, Rehmat ullah, Yasir Riaz, Rana Ajmal, Kamran Zafar, and Muhammad Saleem.

Deputy Commissioner said that the ages of these police personnel range from 12 years old to 4 years old. All these policemen have been taken to the isolation ward of DHQ hospital and are being treated.

In addition to this, the Deputy Commissioner also said that tests of families of the infected policemen will be conducted.

According to the details, the provincial government has also allowed automobile industries to work for seven days a week.

Punjab Industries and Trade Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal said that complete standard operating procedure (SOP) plan has been prepared that will be presented to Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in a meeting.
