When will schools reopen in the Pakistan?

All educational institutions to remain closed across the country even after 1st June.

Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference convened under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday. Provincial ministers attended the conference via video link. Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh  opposed the opening of educational institutions from June 1.

Outbreak of the novel Coronavirus is feared, said the ministers of the three provinces, added that educational institutions should closed. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has supported the opening of educational institutions since June 1. In case of disagreement among the provinces, it decided to keep the matter in the next meeting of the National Coordination Committee.

A day earlier on Tuesday, the federal cabinet concurred to further ease the lockdown after May 9 but left the final decision in this regard to the NCC .
