Federal Minister of science and technology Fawad Chaudhary announced that Eid-ul-Azha will take place on 31st July 2020.

Fawad Chaudhary mentioned the date of Eid-ul-Azha on his Twitter “as per calendar of the Ministry of Science and Technology”.

He said that the moon of ZilHajj shall be seen on 21st July in Karachi and its surrounding areas. He said that the moon shall be seen with the help of binoculars or naked eye in some areas.

He also said that the exact location of moon can be known through the Ruet Application.

“As per calender of  @MinistryofST Eid-Al-Adha shall be celebrated on Fiday,31st July 2020. On 21st July ZeAlHaj moon shall be visible over Karachi and it’s peripheral areas, “Ruet”App may also be used to ascertain exact location of the moon. #Eid
