MOFA directs to minimize attendance due to COVID-19 outbreak

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Sunday has directed to minimize the attendance in all the division due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

A notification has also been issued in this regard.

“In the view of coronavirus situation and to curtail further spread, it has been decided that all Divisions of the Ministry may operate at bare minimum strength, with immediate effect,” the notice read.

The decision came after five employees of Foreign Ministry including two officers were tested positive.

Coronavirus in Pakistan 

The number of confirmed novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19 cases in Pakistan is nearly to hit the toll of 100,000.

Death Toll:

Pakistan’s death toll due to the dread virus has passed 2000. After 67 more deaths from novel coronavirus in one day, the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 2,002 .
