Prominent religious scholar Allama Talib Jauhari who died on Monday has been laid to rest in Karachi.

According to details, people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayers of Allama Talib Jauhari.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and other dignitaries paid respects to the deceased cleric.

In his condolence message, the Prime Minister also commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.

Furthermore Pakistan Military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that, “COAS expresses grief on demise of renowned religious scholar, Allama Talib Jauhari.” May Allah bless the departed soul in eternal peace and give strength to the bereaved family, Aameen.”

The scholar is survived by three sons.  The 80-year-old Allama Johri was in critical condition from the past few days.
He was admitted to a private hospital on June 10. He was on ventilator since then. Other than an Islamic Scholar, Allama Talib Johri was also a poet, historian, and philosopher.
Born on August 27, 1939, Allama Talib Johri was the son of renowned scholar Allama Mustafa Khan Johar.
