Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani has said that Pakistan attaches great importance to relations with Turkey while Pakistan wants peace in the region.

According to details, Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani and Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Sentop had a telephone conversation in which it was agreed to intensify efforts for regional development and prosperity.

During the telephone conversation, important issues, bilateral relations and the regional situation were also discussed, while the two leaders also congratulated each other on Eid.

The Senate chairman said that in the current situation, the parliamentarians have a huge responsibility, the coronavirus has created new challenges.

Mohammad Sadiq Sanjarani also said that global co-ordination and support for the corona virus needs to be further enhanced.

The Chairman Senate said that peace, development, economic prosperity is our common agenda while striving for development and prosperity in the region, dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts would be helpful in taking the development process forward.

Mohammad Sadiq Sanjarani also said that the ideal cooperation at international and regional level shows mutual trust, Turkey has always appreciated and supported Pakistan’s point of view.

Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani further said that Pakistan would further promote Turkish relations, inter-parliamentary relations and people-to-people contacts.
