According to diplomatic sources, Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Pakistan soon while the final dates of his visit are being fixed.

Diplomatic sources said that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will pay a visit to China on August 21 and details of the Chinese President’s visit to Pakistan will be finalized during his visit to China.

The sources also said that the Foreign Minister’s visit to China would last for two days and during the visit, important consultations would be held on the situation in the region.

Diplomatic sources further said that the progress on CPEC projects would be reviewed in a meeting with the Chinese leadership while details of the Chinese President’s visit to Pakistan would also be worked out.
