Pak Army rescue operation continues in flood-hit Karachi

Since torrential rains drowned Karachi, the Pakistan Army and Navy continue the relief and rescue efforts in the metropolis on Sunday.

According to the ISPR, Pakistan Army Engineers have cleared KPT, Civic Center, Mohsin Bhopali, and Golimar underpass to start the flow of traffic. On the other hand, work on Gizri underpass is under progress.

ISPR told that to ensure availability of civic facilities, dewatering continues at multiple locations of Karachi.

Army Mobile Recovery vehicles are deployed at various choke points to shift vehicles stuck in flood to ensure traffic’s flow.
