Lahore Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has extended the interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Captain (R) Safdar and Rana Sanaullah in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office clash case.
According to the details, the hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta.
The investigation officer of PS Chohang presented his report in the case during the proceedings.
The report said that the accused persons were involved in hurling stones at police teams and brawl outside the NAB office during Pakistan Muslim Nawaz (PML-N)’s vice president Maryam Nawaz’s appearance.
The ATC extended interim bail of Capt (retd) Safdar and Rana Sanaullah till October 6.
It should be noted that a clash had broken out between the PML-N activists and police on August 11th, during Maryam Nawaz’s appearance before the NAB office.
Maryam Nawaz’s bulletproof vehicle’s glass was broken after a stone hit it while the police had taken action and arrested the PML-N activists.
Later PML-N central vice president Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan’s only goal now is to put pressure on the opposition and catch the people.
Maryam Nawaz also said that Imran Khan is clinging to power after failures because he is afraid. He is so cruel that he is afraid of his fate.
On request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), an FIR was then lodged against the Pakistan Muslim League (N) activists for creating chaos.
FIR was registered at the police station Chohang on the request of the anti-graft body.
As many as 300 activists of the PML-N, Maryam Nawaz, her husband Captain (retd) Safdar, and Rana Sana Ullah have been nominated in the FIR.
