A two-storey building collapsed near a coal warehouse in Lyari area of ​​Karachi on Sunday.

According to sources, the building collapse left two dead and five others wounded. Many people are reportedly buried under the rubble.

The injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital, sources said.

Earlier on Thursday, a multi-storey residential building collapsed in Korangi’s Allah Wala Town and has left one dead and seven injured.

At least seven injured were recovered from under the rubble, police said.

According to the residents of the area, 15 to 20 families were living in the ill-fated building.

Police and Rangers had arrived at the location and cordoned off the area.
