Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira has recovered from the novel coronavirus on Sunday.

Kaira was tested positive for COVID-19 during the election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan. He quarantined himself later in Lahore.

The doctors have advised the PPP leader to take more rest. He has thanked the well-wishers for praying for his early recovery.

Earlier on November 09, Kaira had contracted COVID-19.

According to the details, Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah confirmed the news in his tweet.

Shah said Kaira, who has been campaigning with party chairman Bilawal Zardari-Bhutto in Gilgit Baltistan for over two weeks, is a great “asset of the party” and prayed for his health.

Furthermore, several politicians including ex-premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Musadik Malik, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and others had tested positive for Coronavirus.
