Supreme Court orders NAB to submit list of pending cases

The Supreme Court has sought a list of pending cases from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to the details, The Supreme Court directed to consolidate the cases related to NAB operations against bank defaulters and sought a list of pending cases.

The lawyer informed the court that the State Bank of Pakistan SBP and private banks were hesitant to settle the money due to NAB. Justice Omar Ata Bandial remarked that the bank needs its money and if any defaulter wants to return the money out of fear of NAB, then NAB should not interfere.

The Supreme Court directed the banks and defaulters to complete the necessary action within 15 days.

In May this year, the Supreme Court has issued a 15-day report on pending cases. The number of pending cases in the Supreme Court has been increased to 44,000. The number of pending cases in the Supreme Court has reached 44,658. As of May 1, the number of pending cases was 44,462.

According to the report From May 1 to May 15, 366 cases were disposed of and 562 were registered.
