PM Khan lays foundation stone of development projects in Chakwal today

Prime Minister Imran Khan has laid foundation stone of various development projects in Chakwal on Saturday.

As per the details, the development projects include Chakwal University, five hundred-bed hospital, a Law College and the Ring Road.

During the visit, local leaders will call on the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister’s visit to Chakwal is part of the government’s agenda to launch development projects across the country and give special attention to the less-developed districts ignored in the past.

Earlier, Special Assistant to CM Punjab Firdous Ashiq Awan has tweeted that equal development of all cities is part of the PTI government’s manifesto.

Billion Tree Honey

Prime Minister Imran Khan has on Monday launched the ‘Billion Tree Honey’ Initiative.

Under the Billion Tree Honey Project, one million hectares of Pakistan’s forests will produce seven types of honey.

Whereas, the production of honey will increase from 12,000 metric tons to 70,000 metric tons. Pakistan will be able to export honey worth Rs 45 billion annually to different countries. Furthermore, the Billion Tree project will create job opportunities for 70,000 to 80,000 people.

However, addressing the launching ceremony in Islamabad, the premier said that it is responsibility of his government to hand over a clean Pakistan to younger generations.

He said the TBTTP will help control environmental degradation, including enhancing forest cover, cleaning rivers and protecting ground water from pollution, and checking air pollution.
