There are threat alerts regarding Jalsa, warns CM Punjab

Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar has said that there are threat alerts regarding PDM Jalsa. He asked PDM to ‘stop playing with the lives of the people’.

Talking to the media, the Punjab Chief Minister said that it was not inappropriate to hold a rally in the coronavirus situation. “Situation of coronavirus is also in front of everyone,” he added.

CM Punjab continued that no procession is taking place around the globe. He suggested that the law should not be taken into one’s hands.

“Whatever happens will be in accordance with the law, we will follow the law”.

Apart from that, Buzdar said that 36 deaths occurred in Punjab yesterday. “There is no difference. All are on board. What is the emergency that these meetings are holding?”

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is holding a mass gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on 13th December (tomorrow). Preparations for the jalsa is still underway.
