The United Nations has urged India and Pakistan to decrease tensions and engage in a dialogue.
As per the details, The UN has called upon both countries to pursue solutions in accordance with the United Nations Charter and Security Council resolutions.
UN Under-Secretary-General for Counter-Terrorism Vladimir Voronkov talked to Pakistan Permanent Representative to United Nations Ambassador Munir Akram in New York.
During the meeting, the Permanent Representative handed over the dossier to him regarding Indian involvement in terrorist activities against Pakistan
It is pertinent to mention that Munir Akram handed over a report on Indian-backed terrorism in Pakistan.
Pakistan Rejects Indian Foreign Ministry Statement On Kulbhushan
On Friday, a Foreign Office spokesman dismissed the Indian Foreign Ministry’s statement as misleading and called out India to refrain from its tactics.
Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez, responding to a statement by the Indian Foreign Ministry on the issue of Kulbhushan, said that The Indian High Commission wants to get rid of this issue by taking the matter to its legal counsel.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that as per the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the Indian High Commission had met Kulbhushan and invited his lawyer but in diplomatic contacts, India itself refused to give instructions to any lawyer.
