Pakistan Navy Ship PNS Nasr, a replenishment tanker visited Sudan and Djibouti for humanitarian assistance.

According to the Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, the ship was received warmly on its arrival in both the countries.

SI (M), Commander Pakistan Navy 9th Auxiliary Warfare Squadron and Pakistan’s Ambassador were present on the occasion.

The Mission Commander also met with senior civilian and military officials in the host countries.

Issues of mutual interest and bilateral maritime cooperation were discussed during the meetings.

The Mission Commander also conveyed a message of goodwill from the Government and the Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Amjad Muhammad Khan Niazi to the people of both the countries.

The navy ship also took part in a joint exercise with the Sudanese navy.

The Navy spokesman said that the visit of the Pakistan Navy ship would pave the way for mutual cooperation as well as further expand the existing ties.

It was reported that the PNS Nasr will now visit Kenya and Niger after visiting Sudan and Djibouti for humanitarian assistance of these flood-hit and drought-affected Africa countries.
