Sindh Rangers and Police while conducting a joint operation arrested the two accused involved in the murder of a security official.

According to the Spokesperson of Sindh Rangers, the arrested identified as Javed Ali and Shaan who along with their Abid Chharra and Faizullah plotted to assassinate Police constable Shiraz.

The Spokesperson while disclosing the plotting details, said that the culprits had phoned the constable and called him at Metroville area and assassinated him.

Raids are being carried out to arrest the accomplices of the accused, said the Spokesperson and added that the accused confessed to robbery, murder and attempted murder during the interrogation.

On the other hand, two officers of the Karachi police have been arrested after they were found having allegedly received a hefty amount from some foreigners in exchange for their release from the police custody.

A media report said that three Nigerian nationals were kidnapped and later recovered from the Gizri area on November 14 last year. As their kidnapping case was registered at the Defence police station, they were handed over to the Defence police, which were supposed to hand them over to the Nigerian embassy.

However, the SHO and SIO of the Defence police allegedly transferred the Nigerian men to a third party said to be a landlord in Kashmore named Dildar after receiving hefty bribes.
