Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday said that Pakistan will extend maximum facilitation to the businessmen from Tajikistan.
According to the details, Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed to promote the economic and trade relations. This was decided at the delegation level. Pakistan’s delegation was led by Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
After the delegation level talks, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a joint press conference Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin, said that said both countries have agreed to reactivate joint working groups to promote cooperation in different fields.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that encouragement of entrepreneurs and businessmen of both sides is the need of time to promote trade relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
Foreign Minister said Pakistan is ready to further assist Tajikistan build its military capabilities. He said we welcome more officers from Tajikistan into the military institutions and Foreign Service academy of Pakistan.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said both the countries have significantly enhanced their relations and this trajectory must be maintained. He expressed commitment to CASA 1000 project saying Pakistan desires its timely completion. He said the project will benefit the region. Shah Mahmood Qureshi He also extended an invitation to the Tajik President and the Foreign Minister to visit Pakistan.
