ISPR: More than 3,000 Levies, Khasadar personnel complete training

More than 3000 personnel of Levies and Khasadar forces completed the second phase of training, said in a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

According to the media wing of Pakistan Military, in collaboration of Pak Army and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the second phase of training of former Khasadar and Levies personnel integrated into the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police concluded.

ISPR said that the second phase of training in different areas of the tribal districts conducted from 18 January to 12 April 2021 in which 3300 personnel integrated into the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police were trained by expert trainers of Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. Training included counter-terrorism, quick reaction force, policing, dealing with IEDs and explosives, awareness of modern equipment, physical fitness and firing practice were given.

Senior officials of Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and Police oversaw the ongoing police training on various occasions and expressed satisfaction.

Police passing out parade ceremonies were held under COVID-19 protocol in different areas of newly merged districts.

According to ISPR, the families of passing out policemen, Senior Officers from Civil administration, Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, Police and other guests attended.
