DG Khan Bus Accident: Death Toll Soars To 34, More Than 90 Injured

At least 34 people were killed and more than 90 received wounds when a passenger bus collided with a trailer in Dera Ghazi (DG) Khan.

According to the details, the DG Khan bus accident occurred near Taunsa By-Pass where a passenger bus, travelling to Sialkot from Ranjanpur, collided with a trailer, killing twenty-seven persons on the spot.

The emergency rescue teams arrived at the spot and moved the dead and injured to the district hospital.

On the other hand, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate incident and extended heartiest condolences to the families of the deceased.

“May Allah Almighty raise the dead to a higher level in Paradise and give their family the courage to bear this loss,” Rashid said while praying for the departed souls.

Earlier near Pull Rango, a similar incident occurred killing six people and injuring 30 others when the passenger bus was travelling in turned turtle after skidding off a bridge in Khanewal.

The driver of the vehicle lost control while trying to avoid hitting a motorcycle, due to which the bus overturned, sources added.
