All Borders Are Closed, No Refugee Is Coming To Pakistan: Interior Minister

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the enemy is conspiring to create chaos and turmoil in Pakistan, there is a danger of terrorist incidents, all borders are closed, no refugees are coming to Pakistan, Pakistan is the centre of international politics.

He expressed these views while talking to media persons at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday.

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed urged the citizens to abide by Coronavirus SOPs, take precautionary measures.

The Home Minister said that he would talk to Asad Umar and Chief Secretary for Friday and Saturday holidays.

The Home Minister said that Imran Khan will complete 5 years adding that the opposition can do whatever it wants to do within the framework of the constitution and the law.

While giving ‘free advice’ to the opposition the minister said, “I am giving free advice to the opposition that Pakistan, which is going to be the centre of international politics, has no place for domestic politics.

Responding to a question, the Home Minister said that fence installation on the border with Afghanistan is 96 per cent complete and 48 per cent with Iran.

He said, “Pakistan’s armed forces are fully deployed on the borders. Attempts are being made to create chaos and disorder in Pakistan. Therefore, there is a risk of terrorist incidents in Pakistan.”

In response to another question, he said that Imran Khan is lucky to have an incompetent opposition.

He said that Pakistan is going to play an important role in Central Asia and the world. Propaganda against Pakistan is being spread in the international media. Foreign agencies hostile to Pakistan have become active.

The Interior Minister said that Pakistan’s role is limited adding that no refugees are coming from the border.
