According to a statement issued from the media wing of the Prime Minister’s Office, Senator Dr Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant and Managing Director, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar will brief the Prime Minister.

Under the ‘No one Sleeps Hungry’ programme, food is currently distributed in 5 cities by food trucks. Today, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate 4 new food trucks for Multan, Gujranwala and Lahore.

Since October, the program has been expanding with 40 trucks in 29 cities. After the nationwide expansion, food will be delivered to 40,000 people daily and 1.46 million people annually.

So far, food has been delivered to more than 831,000 workers in five cities. Earlier this year, the Prime Minister reiterated his commitment that no one will go to bed hungry.
