KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Labour, Information and Human Resources Saeed Ghani on Tuesday said in few days, Prime Minister Imran Khan would be called former prime minister.

“The government believes that it is going out. There is no need for international conspiracy against Imran Khan as he is an incompetent man. Pakistan’s enemies are fond of incompetent rulers like Imran Khan,” Saeed Ghani said talking to media in Karachi.

He said the ruling party would face a tragic defeat, if the voting was held according to the constitution. The one who used to say that he would make the opposition cry, was himself crying today, he said. No allied party was supporting the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government, he said adding that the allied parties heard them, took tea and said they would think about it.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader said the fiction of foreign conspiracy would not sell. “What international community feels threatened of Usman Buzdar,” he asked.

He said Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the ideologies of the PPP, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Jamiat Ulema e Islam-F (JUI-F) had no similarity. Then, how the PTI’s ideology had any resemblance with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, he queried. He said Imran Khan was going to take action against the MQM in London.

Saeed Ghani said how come the PTI’s ideology had a similarity with the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) leader whose leader Pervez Elahi was termed the biggest dacoit.

“Through the government’s statements and announcements, it is clear that it does not have the 172 required members to avert the opposition’s no-confidence motion,” he said.
