Army and FC Balochistan are conducting relief operations and firefighting activities in collaboration with Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

According to the details, Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan are providing maximum assistance and they are in contact with headquarters 12 and with the PDMA. As per details from the ISPR, fire is mostly located on mountain tops (10,000 feet above sea level) away from population centres but continues to spread because of hot weather, inaccessible terrain and dry winds.

They added, that FC Wing 2, Army Helicopter and Levies are engaged in firefighting and rescue operations with the local administration. One helicopter is being used to drop water and the other is being used to drop fireballs and fire extinguishing chemicals on fire.
