ISLAMABAD: Hajj flight operation has been postponed for a week, Bol news channel reported on Tuesday quoting sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The Hajj flight operation was delayed because of incomplete preparations, said the sources. The first Hajj flight will depart from Islamabad on Sunday night (between June 5 and 6), they added.
The sources said the Hajj flight scheduled for Tuesday (today) had been canceled.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, more than 80 per cent pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme had completed their training through Hajj camps.

Hajj pilgrims will be informed about the flights through the website and mobile message.
Hajj pilgrims under government scheme will arrive in Saudi Arabia via Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Air Blue, Serene Air and Saudi Air.
This year, the ministry completed a six-month Hajj operation in a short span of one month.
According to the details issued by the PIA, the executive economy class passengers are allowed to bring up to 40kgs of luggage. On the other hand, economy class passengers will be allied 35 kgs of luggage.
Both the passengers are allowed a hand-carry of 7kgs for traveling.
