Kicking off real independence movement from Mianwali: Imran Khan

MIANWALI: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday said he was beginning the real independence movement from Mianwali.

Addressing a massive public gathering in Mianwali, Imran Khan said he would continue the jihad against the thieves for the country until they were put behind the bars.

“I will give call for Islamabad rally any day after May 20. A sea of unprecedented number of people will gather in the federal capital,” he said adding that the sea of people in Islamabad will have just one demand ‘elections’. “We have never created anarchy. We will hold a peaceful protest in Islamabad,” he said.

The PTI chief asked people to teach the lotas (disloyalists) such a lesson that nobody would become a lota again.

“Next time when these lotas will come in your constituency you have to make arrangement for them. Our government was dismantled in Punjab with the help of lotas. They should be ashamed that they sold their conscious to make the foreign conspiracy successful.

“Can someone sell his soul like this in a western country? Should the institutes of justice not take a suo moto notice of this,” he wondered adding that if the courts could be opened at midnight then why the conscious sellers could not be disqualified.

The former prime minister said the nation would not become a slave to former president Asif Zardari, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz.

He said it’s the age of social media and nobody could control the people now.
