SIALKOT: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday said as there was a conspiracy to assassinate him, so he had recorded a video in which he had exposed the characters involved in the conspiracy against him.

“If anything happens to me, the video will be made public. In the video, I have given the names of those who are responsible for the conspiracy. They want to get Imran Khan killed,” Imran Khan said addressing a mammoth gathering in Sialkot.

He said he wanted the people to know who were behind the conspiracy as he had obtained knowledge about it.

“Conspiracy is being hatched inside and outside the country behind closed doors. Lest I get killed, I have recorded a video and kept it at a safe place in which I have mentioned names of every single person involved in the conspiracy since last summer,” he said.

PM Imran said it was no more a politics as it had turned into revolution and neither former prime minister Nawaz Sharif nor his criminal brother could stop the revolution now.

Criticising the PML-N leadership he said Nawaz and his party were coward. He fled away during the era of former president Pervez Musharraf and then again he ran away as if he was going to die and as soon as he landed in the fresh air of London, his all diseases vanished, he maintained.

Referring to Khawaja Asif, he said Khawaja Ventilator said since the country was on ventilator, therefore they had to polish the USA’s boots. “Your Cherry Blossom Prime Minister says we are beggars, therefore, we should be a slave to the US,” he said referring to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

“We are ummati of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) and we cannot be a slave to anyone. We do not bow down to anyone except Allah (SWT). We do not accept anyone’s slavery like these thieves,” he said.

Imran Khan said he humbly pleaded to the judiciary that Shehbaz Sharif and his sons Hamza and Salman Shahbaz were involved in cases of corruption worth Rs24 billion. “The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) files cases and they come into power and remove them from their posts,” he said. He said an investigation officer Nadeem Akhter who was handling the case of Shehbaz Sharif suffered a cardiac arrest a day ago. So what kind of pressure they were putting on the probe officers that they could not tolerate it, as another officer involved in investigation against Shehbaz and Hamza had already died of cardiac arrest, he asked.

“I ask my courts that who will protect these institutions? If the system runs like this, then how will the institutes stand against such criminals,” he asked.

The PTI chief said the ones in the prisons were small thieves, while the big ones were abroad. He demanded from the courts to free the smaller ones too, he said.

He asked PTI workers to gear up to meet again in Islamabad for the ‘Azadi March’, after he would give call for the decisive rally after May 20.
