BAHAWALNAGAR: On Wednesday, A video of a lady doctor being subjected to the worst torture inside a police station went viral on social media. The doctor was subjected to the worst violence in the presence of the SHO, BOL News reports.

It is seen in the video that the police officer stands as a silent spectator. After the video went viral on social media, different journalists and social media celebrities raised their voices against unjustified violence. According to the Journalist Zahid Gishkori, No one was listening to this civil servant, and the Haroonabad SHO was under the influence of these 3 men who were torturing the doctor.

Zahid Gishkori also released a video on his Twitter account where the lady doctor made her statement concerning the violence she went through earlier and how she faced life threats from those people.

In response to the Twitter post, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s head of strategic reforms, Salman Sufi, termed the violence against Lady Doctor unacceptable and demanded legal action from Punjab Home Minister Ata Tarar.
