ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Navy chief Admiral Saeed Mohammad Khan passed away in Islamabad, the Pakistan Navy spokesperson said on Sunday.
Admiral Saeed Muhammad Khan served as head of the Pakistan Navy from 1991 to 1994.
He played a key role in the construction and development of the navy and defense of the homeland, the spokesperson said.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi expressed his grief over death of Admiral (retired) Saeed Muhammad Khan, he maintained.
“May Allah raise ranks of the deceased in Jannat and grant patience to his family,” the naval chief said.
The spokesperson said the funeral prayer of Saeed Khan would be offered on Monday (tomorrow) at 2:30 PM at the H-11 Cemetery.
