LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and former prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday said “I am pushing into a closed street means pushing the country into a closed street.”
Former prime minister Imran Khan while talking to senior journalists said that the government wants to move the elections beyond 2023.
He said that it is not possible to carry forward the elections in the current economic situation of the country, because if the economic situation continues, the country will default by February-March.
He further said that because of his fear, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari are running away from the elections.
Chairman PTI said that there is no contact with the establishment at present, but the establishment is a reality.
It should be noted that two days ago while addressing through a video link, former prime minister Imran Khan said that “I have not seen the conditions that exist today in my 70 years of life.”
Imran Khan said, “Earlier PMD used to say dissolve the assemblies and they are ready for elections, we were repeatedly challenged to dissolve the assemblies and when we announced to dissolve the assemblies, two movements came.”
He said “It should be told why our current government was overthrown. The country is being plunged into darkness, I am talking to those Pakistanis who live and die in Pakistan, the speed at which the country is going towards destruction will be out of hand.”
PTI Chairman said that the growth rate of the country was increasing during the PTI government but one man brought down the previous government. He said this war is not Imran Khan’s but it belongs to all the country’s people. He said PDM leadership run away from the country after looting, then come back with a deal and NRO.
Imran Khan said that terrorism is increasing in the country but Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto spent billions of rupees on foreign visits. He said Bilawal Bhutto traveled all over the world but did not go to Afghanistan. He said there is need to improve relations with Afghanistan.
