PkMAP leader Ashraf Kakar shot dead in Loralai

QUETTA: Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader Sardar Ashraf Kakar was dead shot by unidentified gunmen in Loralai, Balochistan.

As per details, Ashraf Kakar was at his house when the assailants sent him a message to come out. The gunmen shot him in the head and stomach, leaving him severely injured.

He was transferred to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. He received one bullet short to his head and two shots to his stomach.

Police said Ashraf Kakar was killed in Killi Kudezai area of Loralai.  Police and levies personnel reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.

The news of his death spread quickly as a large number of party supporters and relatives gathered at his house in solidarity. The assailants managed to escape from the spot. The reason behind the killing could not be ascertained immediately.

Sardar Ashraf Kakar was the head of Jamhoori Watan Party and later joined Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and recently joined Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and was senior leader of the party.
