President expected to meet Imran Khan at Zaman Park

• Imran Khan’s consultation to dissolve Punjab and KP assemblies entered the final stage.
• Former prime minister Imran Khan will also consult on preparations for the upcoming general elections.
• He will hold meetings with the members from different districts of Punjab after two o’clock.

LAHORE: Former prime minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s consultation to dissolve Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies has entered in the final stage.

Sources said President Arif Alvi is also expected to visit Zaman Park to meet Chairman PTI Imran Khan.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan will also hold meetings with various party leaders in Zaman Park, in which he will seek their opinions from the assembly members on the dissolution of the assemblies.

Imran Khan will also consult on preparations for the upcoming general elections and other matters.

He will hold meetings with the members of the National and Provincial Assembly from different districts of Punjab after two o’clock.

It should be noted that strict security arrangements have been made around Zaman Park with the help of CCTV cameras.

Earlier, former prime minister and Chairman of PTI Imran Khan chaired a meeting of Sahiwal, Sargodha Division, and Mianwali Assembly members.

In the meeting, other issues including the dissolution of the assemblies were discussed. The members belonging to both divisions supported Imran Khan’s decision to dissolve the assembly.

While presiding over the meeting, Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that the assembly is going to be dissolved this month. Imran Khan said that the PDM government has destroyed the country’s economy, and the date of dissolution of the assembly will be announced before December 20.

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan further said that PML-Q is an important ally and has informed them of his decision.
