IHC to hear PTI chief’s bail pleas on £190m, toshakhana case on Nov 7
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has set the PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s bail pleas on £190 million scandal and Toshakhana case for hearing on November 7.
A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Amir Farooq will hear on November 7.
The accountability court had rejected the bail pleas of Imran Khan over non-compliance.
Following which, PTI chairman had approached the Islamabad High Court for the restoration of bails.
The court had issued notices to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the appeal.
However, the Islamabad High Court has restored the bail applications of chairman PTI in nine other cases.
Imran Khan is facing a NAB inquiry related to a settlement between the PTI government and the property tycoon, which reportedly caused a loss of 190 million pounds to the national exchequer.
