Maryam says opponent parties fail to identify 15 uplift projects in their provinces
LAHORE: Chief Organiser of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz emphasized the significance of the ballot paper as the guardian of one’s future during a public rally in NA-119 Lahore on Thursday.
She expressed gratitude to the constituents for their substantial turnout at her inaugural rally in the region.
Reflecting on her disqualification prior to the 2018 general elections for standing alongside her father, Maryam Nawaz, without explicitly naming any political party, noted that certain parties engaging in election campaigns in Punjab were unable to identify 15 development projects despite holding power in the province for three consecutive terms.
Emphasizing the PML-N’s commitment to action over blame, she contrasted this approach with unnamed parties.
Addressing remarks made by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maryam Nawaz mentioned that a figure in Punjab was asserting that Nawaz Sharif had not yet presented an election manifesto.
She assured that Nawaz Sharif would unveil the PML-N’s election manifesto in the coming days.
Appealing to the public to support the PML-N on February 8, Maryam Nawaz pledged to resume the stalled development projects initiated under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership.
She highlighted the party’s focus on delivering tangible benefits to the masses. The PML-N’s election campaign has officially commenced, with Maryam Nawaz launching it from Okara.
