More rains likely in Lahore, Punjab
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts varying intensities of rainfall in Lahore and parts of Punjab over the next two days.
A westerly wave is influencing the western and upper regions of Pakistan and is expected to persist in the upper parts of the country in the coming days.
Consequently, most parts of Punjab can expect cold weather, with upper districts experiencing partly cloudy conditions on Monday evening/night, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Rainfall, along with snowfall in Murree and Galliyat, is anticipated, potentially affecting transportation for the next two days.
Tourists are advised to exercise caution. Rain is likely in several cities, and shallow to moderate fog is expected in various areas during morning and night hours.
Lahore’s minimum temperature is projected to range between 08-10 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday. In the last 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the province.
