Islamabad: In addition to cloudiness in the upper regions of the country, there is a possibility of light rain with strong winds and thunderstorms at some places and light snowfall in the mountains.

According to the Department of Meteorology, on Thursday, there is a possibility of light rain with strong winds and thundershowers and light snow on the mountains, apart from partly cloudy conditions in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.

The weather will remain cold and dry in other parts of the country, while it will remain very cold in north Balochistan. During the last 24 hours, the weather will be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it will be very cold in the upper regions, but in North, South-West Balochistan, and Upper Sindh, it will rain at a few places.

The highest rainfall in Balochistan was recorded in Quetta Samingali City 11 mm, Dalbandin, Kalat 6 mm, Panjgur 5 mm and Gwadar 1 mm.

 Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in the country was recorded at Kalam minus 12, Leh minus 11, Astore, Gops minus 6, Kalat minus 5, Chitral minus 3, Bagrot, Dir, Drosh, Mir Khani, Rawalkot and Skardu have been recorded minus 2 degrees Celsius.
