Sindh declare two before Eid holidays

The provincial government of Sindh has announced two public holidays during the first week of April across the region. In an official notification, April 1st has been declared a public holiday for the Christian community, marking the “Day After Easter.”

Additionally, another notification has been issued to observe a public holiday on Thursday, April 4, 2024, commemorating the 45th Martyrdom anniversary of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

According to the notification, all government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative jurisdiction of the provincial government will be closed on these days, except for those engaged in essential services.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has recently announced aid packages for Holi and Easter celebrations.
